Dr. Ruma Mishra

Dr.Ruma Mishra is currently an Associate Professor at Mass Bay Community College, USA. Prof. Mishra holds a Masters degree in Psychology, a Bachelors degree in Education and a PhD in Psychology from Kanpur University, India. Following her doctorate Prof. Mishra joined MBCC as an adjunct faculty and also became a visiting professor at Framingham State college between 2002- 2005. She later joined MBCC as a full time faculty and started teaching a variety of courses with specialization in Child Development.

Prof. Mishra has also worked as a Learning Disability Specialist. This gave her an opportunity to interact with disabled individuals in an individualized and group format and provide them academic advising and competency based instructional activities.

Currently Dr. Mishra is enjoying teaching and her family life in Massachusetts with a supportive husband and two wonderful, teenage boys.

Dr. Jawahar Surisetti

Dr Surisetti is the President of Life Educare (P) Ltd, an organization that advises its client institutes so they can achieve new frontiers in the education domain. He has a Doctorate from the University of Washington and has been acting as advisor to HRD Ministry as well three state governments & various education chains.

He is the author of the International Bestselling Parenting Guide ‘Mama and Me’ which has sold more than 1.1 million copies in the US and Europe. Dr. Jawahar was awarded ‘Bharat Shiksha Ratna’ and ‘Man of the year – 2009′ while representing India.

He has conducted over 1008 seminars on various topics like “Explora”- exploring the mind of the youth with the UN, Times of India etc. With his experience he brings a very clear focus on what are the real needs & an insights on implementation hurdles.

Mr. Ramkishan Cupala

Mr.Ram has over 28 years of cross functional experience in the education sector as well as in corporate MNC’s. He started his career as lecturer in Chemistry at St. Joseph’s College, Bangalore and later moved into areas of Corporate Quality and R&D with BOSCH and Nitro Nobel, Sweden respectively.

As his interest has always been with K-12 education he moved from the Industry to school education as coordinator for the The Krishnamurthi Foundation group of schools and The Valley School, Bangalore. Over the past few years Ram has moved into consultancy for setting up green field school projects for Birla Eductech Ltd. and the Vibgyor High schools covering all aspects of school functioning from identification of location, design, affiliations, recruitment, and developing plans for efficient functioning of the schools.

Ram was also selected as the Principal auditor for 15 schools belonging to the KLE Society (Kannada Lingayat Society). In addition to auditing schools, he has also enriched the academic program of the school by conducting several training sessions for teacher under the auspices of Academy for Creative Teaching in areas of Life skills, Communication skills, pedagogy, ICT interventions, and 21st century learning challenges and leadership programs for teachers & Heads of schools.

Mrs. Rashmi Sharma

Mrs. Rashmi Sharma brings more than 16 years of teaching & education management experience to our academic council. She has an MBA, M.Com, and a Bachelors degree in Education coupled with a deep understanding of Indian education system.

As the Vice Principal at St. Soldier Public School, she taught the students as well as was very active in teaching/coaching the teachers. She has carried that passion for teaching and has been involved in guiding the teachers/schools in the implementation of CBSE’s CCE (Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation) Framework. Having attended various programs, conferences, and having taught at various seminars, she is an authority on CCE implementation.

Presently residing in Mumbai, she still stays close to the latest CBSE changes, and is following her love for sharing her knowledge through various seminars on CCE.
